Our services
At The Brave Calm Project, we offer evidence-based, compassionate support to help you navigate anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trauma and the challenges that come with being human. Whether you're seeking therapy for yourself or supervision as a CBT clinician, our approach is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and care. Below you’ll find the current services available — each designed to help you feel more equipped, understood, and supported.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT is a practical, structured therapy that helps you make sense of how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact and how to shift unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, or chronic worry, CBT can help you develop tools to manage distress, face fears, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
At the Brave Calm Project, therapy is collaborative and tailored, rooted in evidence, but also grounded in warmth, understanding, and respect for your lived experience. As a BABCP-accredited therapist with years of experience supporting people through anxiety and trauma, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to help you reconnect with your strengths and values.
EMDR
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach for people who feel caught in the aftershocks of difficult life experiences. If memories, emotions, or physical reactions feel stuck or overwhelming , whether due to a single trauma or years of subtle, chronic stress , EMDR can help your brain process those experiences so they no longer have the same hold on you.
Using gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements), we access your natural healing system—safely and at your pace. I’m trained in EMDR and experienced in working with trauma and anxiety. I integrate compassion-focused principles to make sure your experience feels safe, steady, and supported throughout.
Clinical Supervision
Good supervision is more than a clinical requirement; it’s a space for growth, reflection, and connection. I offer clinical supervision for CBT practitioners who want to feel more grounded, skilled, and confident in their work. Whether you're a trainee navigating your training or a qualified therapist deepening your practice, supervision can help you stay reflective, resourced, and ethically anchored.
As a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and university lecturer in CBT for anxiety disorders, I bring both clinical depth and academic clarity to the work. My supervision style is collaborative, thoughtful, and curious, creating a space where you can think out loud, ask questions, and develop your identity as a therapist with authenticity and care.
